What If You Don’t Get CSE in a Good College?

Here are some backup strategies:

Take ECE/EEE and switch to IT via coding skills (DSA, web development).

Choose a lower-ranked NIT/IIIT with CSE over a higher-ranked college in a different branch.

Prepare for GATE later to switch to CSE via MTech.

Consider private colleges (BITS, VIT, Manipal) if you can afford the fees.
