💳 Application Fee Structure
During the initial registration stage, only an online processing fee is charged across all standard categories:
- Unreserved / General: ₹25.00
- Other Backward Class (OBC): ₹25.00
- Scheduled Caste (SC): ₹25.00

🔔 Main Exam Fee Requirement: Shortlisted candidates will be required to pay a separate, specific Main Examination fee at a later date. This payment must be cleared prior to downloading the Main Exam admit card.
📝 Key Registration & Modification Instructions
1. How to Authenticate & Log In
- Candidates must visit upsssc.gov.in and navigate to the Live Advertisement Segment.
- Authentication requires the candidate's PET-2025 Registration Number verified via a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number or email address.
2. Department Preference & Single Application
- Only one consolidated application needs to be submitted.
- Candidates must actively select and rank their department and post preferences during registration. The system will attempt to allot departments based on merit, preference selection, and matching age/educational criteria.
3. EWS Reservation Requirements
- Applicants seeking the 10% EWS quota must possess an EWS certificate issued between April 1, 2026, and June 18, 2026.
- The certificate must be explicitly calculated based on the income of the Financial Year 2025–26 and state validity for the Financial Year 2026–27.
4. Permissible Application Modifications
After the final form submission, revisions are strictly limited. Candidates can modify only the following fields up until June 25, 2026:
- Correspondence address.
- Personal reservation details (EWS status, Horizontal reservation status like DFF, Ex-Servicemen, PwD category/subcategory updates, Gender, and Sports background).
- Essential and preferential qualification records.
- Marital status.
